Behind the Lens

I’m William Edwards — a disabled veteran, husband, father, and co-owner of FrameAndFlask.com. My life didn’t start easy. I grew up in a lower-income home with an abusive mother and two parents addicted to drugs. I bounced between houses, became a ward of the state, and by 17, I joined the Army searching for stability. I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, an experience that gave me discipline but also left me with wounds you can’t always see.

Wildlife photography became my therapy. Sitting still in the woods, waiting on a warbler to land, or watching a heron dive, taught me patience, presence, and peace. Behind the lens, I’ve found a way to heal and a way to share beauty with others.

Now, I’m blessed with a supportive wife and a beautiful daughter who remind me daily of why I keep going. Frame & Flask is more than just a business — it’s how I share stories, create experiences, and prove that no matter where you come from, you can build something meaningful.
